So this week, some new things.
I made a new kind of stocking cap, possibly as a commision. Two kinds of thick & quick yarn. Single crochet, carrying along the yarn, double crochet brim.
Made another hat from the two kinds of handspun natural wool. Can't remember where I got them-- Maybe for Spoon's wife?
And then this hat, which I made in the wee hours this am while watching Inception. Handspun yarn by knoxfarmfiber, also mohair and eyelash
I also did another moth-eaten scarf (I sold one at MICA). I quite like these, perhaps want to try as a hat.
Yesterday I started messing around with the unspun Icelandic wool I've had forever. I made several scarfy felted things. First, a short brown one.
And then I did a longer one in cream.
And then I made a blue collar.
I find the results pretty fascinating, but I may need to do baskets and bags instead, as it is a bit rough. Perhaps also hot pads, trivets?
And finally, I made a necklace with the felty beads from the sweater fulling. I hope I can find a way to do the bead making in the machine deliberately.
